Dance Moms; A Hit!

Among many of the reality television shows, Dance Moms makes it to the big list. Seeing as I hear about it so much, I felt I needed to see a glimpse of this huge hit. As I turned on the television, and turned to life time, I end up watching none other than dance moms. After the first fight between the moms, I knew one thing. This was not just reality television. It was unscripted reality TV. In other words, the show is not scripted, but the director will say ask this, or do this. This makes more drama. Making it much more interesting.

Synopsis

Abby Lee Dance Studio has some amazing dancers, Brooke, Maddy, Chloe, Paige, Kendall, Nia, and Asia. Dancers come and go but those are the basic stars that actually dance every week. There arch nemesis is Cathy who owns the dance studio Candy Apples. This is a studio of only boys. Of these boys there are Gino, _______(I don't remember the Asian kid's name...), Zach, and Nick. They have a special choreographer, Anthony. Behind this we have the moms. That's the most interesting part of the show. Seeing the moms rip each other to shreds. I must say it gets boring after a while. It's like they all need to slap the botox off there faces!

Review

I can't quite give the "characters" ratings, because they aren't scripted nor acting. But I can't grade the rest. I give creativity an A+, no one else could probably think of this... I give consistency a B-, because sometimes it doesn't flow very well... I give editing a D+. It's really, really choppy... Overall it gets an B.
